START UP PROCEDURES

All cables and adapters should be found in the video rack and FOH workbox drawers

• Projector is now permanently set up above stage
• Put projection screen together, and set it up on stage
• Set up video rack directly next to audio console at FOH
• Set up stage display TV behind FOH on top of road case
• Turn the rack and Resi decoder on by pressing three buttons

  3. Resi power
• Set up ProPresenter laptop on table next to rack

• Plug BlackMagic UltraStudio Monitor 3G device into ProPresenter laptop with the USB-C Thunderbolt cable, plug only the SDI cable to the back of the rack in port labeled “ProPresent” (the HDMI output on the device is not used here).
• Plug SDI cable from the large loom into port labeled “SCREEN OUT” from the back of the rack
• Plug this SDI into the projector SDI input on stage behind the stage right curtains
• Plug projector power into outlet on side stage (3 prong outlet, not the 2 prong outlet)
• The ProPresenter laptop has an HDMI output on the right side. Use the long HDMI cable to connect this output to the large confidence monitor (stage display) behind front of house.
• Ensure stream (P2P) XLRs have been plugged in to the outputs on the back of the rack, and into inputs 1-6 on the audio console (see audio protocols for more info)
• Once projector is on, use remote to focus projector and align to screen
  • Focus → Hold down arrow keys to adjust focus (Best focus likely between 223 and 226)
  • Menu → Settings → Keystone → Quick Corner
• Import any new slides/songs from voxprod.rocks/content or campus specific slides from [email protected] email
  • Delete any outdated slides
