START UP PROCEDURES

• Place lighting rigs on stage left/right behind the band and next to projector screen. The rigs are labeled and must be in correct order for wiring connections.
• Place EPIX light bars in plastic feet, then evenly space them under projector screen (2 bars outside the legs, 2 bars inside the legs). They should be in order from 1 to 4 starting at stage right.
• ***NOTE: Front lighting and house shockers are now permanently mounted to the roof truss. Plug in the DMX cable that comes down behind the curtain at stage right to the 5-pin adapter in the DMX controller on the back of the wireless rack.
• Turn on front lights/house shockers by pressing the breaker button on the wall at stage right. It is labeled “OUTLET ON BEAM.” IMPORTANT: Be sure to shut down using the breaker after services are over.
• There are 2 cable snakes for the lighting rig and they are all color coded. Run the first snake from the back of the wireless rack (STAGE EPIX, STAGE DMX, LP PWR OUT) to the stage right light rig. ‘L PWR IN’ comes from a wall outlet.
• Run the second snake from stage right lighting rig to each EPIX bar, then to stage left lighting rig.
• There is a large loom of 3 cables (2 CAT cables, and 1 SDI cable). They are labeled, and the lighting CAT cable is in that loom. Connect that from the back of the wireless rack to the small etherCON coupler, then use a normal CAT cable to connect to the lighting computer.
