NOTES:
- Remember to turn off the LED screen movement when speakers/pastors are praying. Play it by ear for prayers during/between songs by the worship team.
- Layer the use of the lights and effects. Don’t start too strong with the lights on most songs….BUILD!!!
- Pay attention as a song comes down and scale back accordingly.
- Always be a ½ step behind the song or a transition. Don’t prematurely transition a lighting look. Let the worship team start the transition to a new song and be right behind them. We should never drive a transition but be right behind it with the appropriate lighting changes.
- Be sure to have strong fog levels before the beginning of the sermon so that the fog lasts throughout the sermon. There should be no fog disbursement during the sermon, even if levels are thin. Fog can be added only if it’s absolutely required and requested by the technical/creative director.
